WILD WEST EXPRESS is the most booked entertainment act of any kind in the Western United States for the past two years. In 2004, the cowboy comedy team (now with 20 full time cast members)and their trusty 'muppet-like' steeds will be performing at over 100 fairs,rodeos, concerts, and events with over 700 dates currently booked (seven travelling groups of 2, 3, 4 performers).They will be performing at State Fairs in Washington, Oregon, Calfornia, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Alaska, Delaware, Oklahoma, and County fairs in 28 states. We are a “cowboy” band with the style of the traditional trail songs and ballads of old, but with a contemporary flair. We are dedicated to the western way of life and it's education and entertainment. We have recently been nominated for Western Music Group of the Year for the Academy of Western Artists. We have also been nominated for the same title for the Western Music Association, in the past.
We currently have one album out titled "Hangin' from the Conchos" and are in the middle of recording a second. "Hangin’ from the Conchos" is self-produced and all but three cuts are original material. It was recorded at MAS Productions studio, by Mark Stephenson. He has worked on many artists’ projects, including Martina McBride, She-Daisy, Tony Braxton, and Restless Heart, to name a few.
We have already experienced airplay in several states:
Utah, through Utah Public Radio stations and at KSUU FM in Southern Utah.
Oklahoma, through Jo Hargrave’s Keepin’ it Cowboy on 850 AM out of Anadarko
